Description
This poster is a colored pencil illustration of Tolstoy's retelling of Pinocchio. A light green puppet theater with open windows forms the body of the illustration. At center is Pinocchio, made of jointed with, with a long pointed nose. He is surrounded by illustrated characters from the story. From top left: an angry man with long pointed beard; a red cat with eye patch and cast on paw; a red fox; a bald man with a kindly face and little glasses; a woman with blue hair and a red bow; a man with a very large mustache and tiny black fez; a turtle; and three pierrots run along the left side. The top of the theater has the title of the film, and a gold key, which is the alternate title for Tolstoy's story. There are also two mice on either side of the title. The top half of the poster is weak from creasing. This film is Soviet. Box 3.
