Description
This poster is a mixed media illustration of the transom of a galleon. The illustration is a typical mechanical pen and ink technical drawing, but there is a black and white photograph of a man pinning down a screaming woman placed on the transom. A flagpole extends from the carved stern of the galleon, which has a Portugeuse standard flying from it. To the upper left is a drawing of a galleon in full sail, aground on the back of a sea creature; a mermaid with a lyre sits on top of it. There is an illustrated green and purple striped border; in each corner there is a Portugeuese heraldic device. Thi film is East German.
